Matt C. Usdin practiced as an associate in the Mergers and Acquisitions + Capital Markets department of Vinson & Elkins in New York City, where he served as outside counsel before joining Stronghold in September 2021. Matt is barred in both Louisiana and New York.

After growing up in New Orleans, Matt attended Colgate University where he graduated magna cum laude with high honors in history and highest distinction in the core curriculum. After college, Matt lived in Abu Dhabi before attending the University of Texas School of Law where he was articles editor for the Texas Journal of Oil & Gas.
